MgA. Markéta Kinterová Ph.D.

Markéta Kinterová is a photographer and artist; she heads the Documentary Photography Studio at the Department of Photography. In her work, Kinterová combines photographic fundamentals with both conceptual overlaps and the area of locally specific interventions. She has taken part in a number of international and domestic exhibitions, including the Otets Paisiy Street Festival (Plovdiv, Bulgaria, 2013), Scenario Strategies (Meet Factory, Prague, 2012), and the Prague Biennial 3 (Karlin Halls, Prague, 2007). She is co-founder and director of the Fotograf 07 association which organizes the Fotograf Festival;she operates the Fotograf Gallery and publishes Fotograf magazine. Markéta Kinterová graduated from the Photography Studio of the Faculty of Art and Design of the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem.
