Marcel Stecker is a photographer based in Prague. He is a PhD student at FAMU. He is interested in artistic research and the relationship between photography, technology and authenticity. His dissertation focuses on images with lower image quality. In contrast to his previous original art work which is based on precision photography (regardless of the chosen film format). His most significant photographic collection, Land of People, is a visual essay on human interaction in the landscape. At the same time, he also works on projects within studio photography which he also teaches at FAMU.
