Tomáš Dvořák is an associate professor in the Department of Photography, FAMU in Prague. His research and teaching focus on history and theory of photography and visual culture, theory of new media and digital culture, archaeology of media and media arts. His recent publications include a special issue of the journal Philosophy of Photography on cameraless imaging or a co-edited book, with Jussi Parikka, Photography Off the Scale: Theories and Technologies of the Mass Image (Edinburgh University Press 2021).
