Basic principles for creating portfolio

  1. Portfolio is in English, or in 2 language versions where one of them must be in English
  2. Portfolio title is: Portfolio, Author’s name, the year of the update
  3. It contains author’s name, contact (phone, e‑mail, link to the websites or different forms of presentation)
  4. CV – structured – chronologically from the most recent to the last relevant 
    1. study
    2. relevant experience – internships, workshops, events, etc.
    3. exhibitions – divided on solo and group sections – must contain the year, the title, the whole name of a gallery or an institution, the city, the state
  5. The artist statement can, but doesn’t have to, follow
  6. Works are arranged chronologically from the newest to the oldest
  7. Works and projects contain a standard caption and a short annotation
  8. Each page contains a caption – see the captions
  9. The graphic arrangement and format correspond with the usual presentation, that is A4, legible text, maximum 20 pages
  10. It is highly recommended to avoid blank pages
