Researcher and lecturer in the fields of theory and history of photography, media, visual culture, and consumer culture. His current research interests include vernacular photography, creative misuse of technology, hybrid apparatuses & spaces, interactive documentaries, and photographic communities of consumption. He is also interested in digital ethnography, visual social sciences, science studies and innovative approaches to empirical research.
