His main focus is documentary photography projects set in Czechia as well as in the Balkans and the Near East. During his studies at FAMU he worked as an assistant to photographer Viktor Kolář and spent two years in Turkey, where he created the project Notes on the Vanishing World and began work on the cycle The County Behind The Map depicting life in Kurdish areas. Besides his own artistic projects, Douša currently collaborates with the Archive of Czech Exile Art in Chicago, where he focuses on the archive of prematurely deceased exile photographer Bob Krčil.
