In his guest lecture Arno will present three of his latest installations : Archeology (Reims 2016), Ghost stories (Mannheim 2017) and Say Schibboleth (Hohenems 2018).
Arno Gisinger is an Austrian photo-based artist and researcher living and working in Paris. He studied literature and contemporary history at the University of Innsbruck (Austria) and photography at the École nationale supérieure de la photographie in Arles (France). His work deals with history, memory, language and photographic images. Arno Gisinger is Associate Professor at the department of photography of Paris 8 University since 2012. He has published numerous catalogs and books.
